I don't want to hear the opinion of some big mouthed know it all who doesn't sign checks &/or actually know the facts.
I'm saying companies say they're donating 100% of the profit...
Is that 100% of the income for an item ?
Not one penny of the money Bungievisions making off of their product is going to towards paying any bills, insurance, payroll, t&m, or anything ?
Basically I'd like to know what %100 is ?
&
where exactly is it going ?
This info public ? It should be, it's a donation..

Look at their tax records. Bungie Foundation doesn't directly get involved persay. How they work is they gather the money from their own profits, and then use that money to fund other charitable organizations like the Make a Wish Foundation. Bungie Foundation covers things like Electronics and Computers for children. There is so much that they do. Get your head out your ass. In 2016 they brought a kid who was dying to the Studio, and let him play Destiny 2. The first person not part of the team to actually play the game. This is the shit they do.... I kind of want to smack the OP right now lol

2 RepliesIf you're concerned about how much (or little) profit they get off the pin, just donate directly.

4 Replieshttps://www.forbes.com/top-charities/list/ There's a 100 other organizations you could ask the same question. But you just want to attack Bungie right?

2 RepliesI'm just going to leave this here. It's an interesting talk about the way we think about charities. I was reminded of it when I saw this post. https://www.ted.com/talks/dan_pallotta_the_way_we_think_about_charity_is_dead_wrong/transcript?language=en

3 RepliesEdited by Kone19ps: 9/4/2017 7:33:24 PMI just stick to donating blood. Then I know its very unlikely to be abused

When did you become charitable?

"I don't want to hear the opinion of some big mouth know it all" Well you came to the wrong place to ask your question. It's amazing the demand for answers. The people always want to know this, or want to know that. So they come on the internet, to the Bungie forum. The Bungie forum? If your question is about Bungie, look elsewhere for an answer. Don't ask the pope if God exists, The answer will always be 'Yes'. You have access to the biggest database of information ever created in human civilisation. We call it the Internet. It's like the library of Alexandria, for an old world comparison. Everything you need to know. For example, I used the internet and found out the following things: The Earth is not flat, despite some people's claims. We are not Geocentric. Project Blue Beam is the most elaborate conspiracy theory ever. Project Blue beam is unworkable as a means to an end (assuming they had the technology). The sky is full of 'Demons' that look like planes. Jesus is coming back on 23/9/2024. Anybody in a position of power is a Reptoid. The Illuminati are a secret society, who give us secret signs they are running things. Real news is now 'fake' Cats can actually play the piano. Dogs can actually speak. Reality is probably a computer simulation. The people at CERN are opening portals to hell. The people at CERN have moved all of us to a different dimension. Life 'was' like a box of chocolates. Never, Life 'is' like a box of chocolates. The Sumerians were cool. Etc, Etc, Etc. Don't look here to see if Bungie are being 'honest' I still haven't forgiven the Romans for the Library thing.

3 RepliesWow, even being this way with a charity. New low for you dude.
-
3 RepliesThats why I do my research before I donate. Bungie isn't doing right by us most the time, why would they for others? With that said, I donate on my own after extensive research.

3 RepliesJust buy the damn embl- I mean pin...

4 RepliesTypically when charity drives like this are set up, you don't really know the total amount donated vs. actually given until expenses are accounted for. But, typically, if the charity is "legit" you can expect anywhere from 90% to 70% of the total monies donated to directly benefit those they are trying to reach. While there are more directly beneficial charities to donate to, I wouldn't knock those other avenues of charity donation. While the actual percentage of donation that directly benefits the people in need may be less vs. other direct avenues, charity drives such as this open up new avenues of charity monies that likely would not have been collected otherwise. Such as in this case. I believe that by doing what Bungie is doing here is reaching an different crowd of people that may not have been otherwise reached. If not for their efforts here, those people that donated may not have donated at all. And trust me, there's alot of people out here that could use every penny that is being donated, through whatever avenue its being donated. This isn't video games, this is real life with people in real crisis. I'm going to believe that The Bungie Foundation is going to give everything they can from what they get from donations. If not, I'll have alot more problems with them than just weapon balance bullshit.

What profit is it to a man that he play a bungie game but lose his soul @.@ and also wallet to everworse c.c

Exactly J. This information should be public as to how much is going where as per laws and regulations.

11 RepliesProfit is whatever money is left after expenses, not the total amount collected for a transaction. Are you asking about the Bungie Foundation in genera or something more specific? The Bungie Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) (Tax ID Number: 27-2313989) and as such falls under IRS requirements to maintain that status. Perhaps these links may help.
