To all those complaining about hunters in the beta. We got the worst tree for arcstrider, and the hunter rewards a skilled hand, so you just have to know how to use it. It's like take an off-road buggy and putting it in a street race against a super car. Your not getting the most out of it because your not using it right. The dodge is fine, 17 seconds is okay. You should only get one dodge per gunfight, and by the time you regen your dodge will be basically back because it takes 17 seconds to regen anyway. The gunslinger golden gun damage is pretty pathetic. It didn't even one shot some red bar enemies in pve and it should always 1 shot enemies in pvp. I also heard something where arcstrider may take two hits on high armor guardians so we'll see but I believe that shouldn't be the case IF THEY AREN'T IN THEIR SUPERS. If they are in their supers it should take a couple hits. Hunters are mainly balanced but I believe if these things were fixed it would bring hunters up to par with everything else.

1 ReplyEvery super should one shot. This was an issue in D1. The arcblade was horribly weak compared to other supers.. It was one shotable by other supers, but it took two to three shots from an arcblade to kill someone out of their super? Yeah that was balanced right there! I am hoping the same fate does not befall the arcstrider. The hunter is more of a skill based class.. it takes a skilled player to play a hunter, and that will be more the case in D2. I do agree that the hunter could use some buffing, as well as some more supportive abilities to appease the whiners.. But we dont know the full skill trees of the nightstalker.. so we will have to see if that offers more support.

29 RepliesDodge does nothing for you. Its easy to predict where you go and hit you while you can do nothing. Its a shit mechnic taht does nothing. Even mobs still hit you.
