I found out that there will be bonus perks and specials for people who played the original Destiny for when they transfer over to Destiny 2.
If I played Destiny (2014) on the Xbox One and am going to play Destiny 2 on PC will I get those perks? (I do have my Xbox Live account linked to my Battle.net one)

its not much. What your character looks like. Some achievement things that are cosmetic. That is it.

26 RepliesF....K Special crap for owning Destiny 1 , no ones should have any meaningfull gameplay advantages for owning D1 , only cosmetics or tittle emotes or whatever ... nothing that affect the gameplay PC masterace didnt had destiny 1 because Activision was to focus on getting it ready for X360 Ps3 and ps4 and xbone ... I dont see why peoples should have any gameplay advantages for having play D1 , its simply silly unfait and retarded beyong the word

No they're linked to the console, the game had a unique account per console
-
Has to be the same platform
-

-
No, it has to be on the same platform.

Same Plattform: Yes Cosmetic: Yes Others will be blown away content: Yes Didn't Deej said: "We say a little light, because we have competing goals to contend with on this subject. Some of the ways in which we’ll tip our hat to your legacy in Destiny 2, and some of the ways you’ll be able to show all the young pups that you’d become legend long before they were ever reborn in the Cosmodrome, are best left for you to experience for yourself. Others are little touches that will fall snuggly into the realm of “you just had to be there.” We’re not going to spoil them for you right here and right now". Actuall rumors are: different Starting Missions other Special questline. And different dialogue. I don't think that all Veteran will get free Galli

Just emblems

4 RepliesJust curious as to where you heard this info? I think that would be great if they did because so many of us have been playing since 2014 and to be able to show off that stat would be nice. I know people say your grimoire score shows that but not all of us played the raids and I have significant time put into D1 and would like to show it off as I am sure a lot of people would especially in your case switching to PC
-
Nope, you need to be on the same platform
-
5 RepliesThere are 7 emblems that are going to be in D2 that represent accomplishments from D1. Currently for same platform only players. Besides that, some dialogue about your achievements are supposedly worked into the story.
-
Nope, same platform only.
-
2 RepliesI believe luke said it doesn't work if you change platforms. Also, I don't think they're going to say anything about what the bonus will be until launch.
-
2 RepliesIts such garbage it has to be on the same console. Whats the point of having everything link through Bungies official website if it can not notice and transfer a minimal amount of data?
-
I would also like to note Luke Smith said the enterance to the game would be different for veteran characters than fresh characters so that's pretty cool.
-
No it has to b3 on the same platform
-
2 RepliesTheir will be something for those that return to the world of Destiny that fought their way through Destiny 1. Just what it is.....no one really knows just yet. I have attached a link to a Luke Smith Interview. It does touch on it briefly. Although you bring up a good point. Xbox tracks all through Xbox Live and when playing on Windows PC it links back to that. So, that is a good Question to be brought up and you may want to post that question also into the Help section of the forum. I know Luke Smith puts it in the video that those special items...whatever they may be will be attached to where you played Destiny 1. So, going from PS4 to Xbox or vise versa would cancel out the rewards. Speculation is that they will just be Emblems or such.
-
Unfortunately not. Luke Smith mentions it in the video that someone else posted below. You need to be on the same platform. Sorry, Guardian!

It has to be on the same platform
