I primarilly play on PC, however since I played Destiny on xbox I kinda have to stick with it. I would prefer playing on PC without losing the rewards and friends I had on xbox. It would also make the game more accessible and allow more people to play with their friends.
I don't care about cross platform gameplay as much, however. I just hope that I'll be able to log into my xbox account from within Destiny 2 PC when it drops.
Thanks for reading!

PC has a multiplayer advantage or whatever? Who cares, THINK OF A SOLUTION instead of just denouncing it. It's not all about competitive play! PvE is the biggest part of Destiny, so why the hell would it be such a bad thing for players across platforms to be able to play together?? Xbox already does this with their Play Anywhere program, I buy the game ONCE and I get it for TWO PLATFORMS and my progress carries over from where I play! Fortnite has done this with PC and PS4, I bought it on PC and got it for FREE on PS4 and can play it anywhere and continue my progress anywhere. I want this so bad for Destiny, I have friends that play on all platforms, so I had to buy it for all 3 platforms, and that means I have to have separate characters on each platform and I can't just carry over from anything. What is so bad about cross-platform play that some people would instantly say no? It's nonsensical and there's no argument for it other than being a fanboy, which isn't even an argument, that just means you're selfish for illogical reasons. You're all dense if you think cross-platform is a bad idea.
