Is Oryx still alive??
Lets talk about how in destiny 2 we see taken appear in a couple of segments of gameplay we've seen. the thing is why are they there in destiny 2? Did Oryx live after we killed him in the boss fight on kings fall raid, because we did see his body float away towards Saturn. Did he float towards Titan the new moon we have gameplay on?? just speculation since the hive basically worship him if i am correct. (also this new "black forest" is supposed to be filled with taken also are there any connection to if Oryx possibly created this dimension thats of course if he is alive.
could it be that he is alive or can we speculate that its another echo?

When Oryx died all of the Taken that were in our system were left without a proper ruler, so without direction they just stay within our system and kill anything that moves. Until a greater Taken or a new Taken King give them a command they will stay put Be glad Oryx is not still alive, otherwise the system would've fallen already (although a fragment of Oryx's being still exists within Touch of Malice so he can exist forever, he no longer has the ability to control the Taken or create more. It is possible that more Echoes may remain though)

1 ReplyHe's been mostly-dead all day. Oryx was able to revive his sisters from a true death. And I'd be surprised if at some point we don't have to stop them from trying to do the same for him.

Most likely one of his/her sisters has now control of the Taken.

I mean if oryx want dead when we shot him he's definitely dead from burning up from entering Saturn's atmosphere

No he is definitely dead. My theory for why there are taken in the EDZ is that they are feeding off the shard of the traveler.
