https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/332609278613651467/352261640110080000/image.jpg pic of my system to prove I have a 970
the game was running at 20 fps and could reach up to 40fps with minimal settings. after looking around I realized that there was only 128 mb of available vram. I have a gtx 970, and I have played gta 5 on this pc without issue. I know that the 970 only has 3gb of gddr5 and 1 gb of ddr3, so I don't know if this might be part of the issue. Is there any internal setting that will allow me to allocate more vram manually? I have tried updating to the game ready drivers and everything. please help.
*edit* I have tried deleting the CVARS.xml file from the game, and restarting it. still no change.
*EDIT* issue has been fixed. turned out that the hdmi cable was plugged into the motherboard and not the video card SMH

please somebody help I bought the game 2 days ago and It only launches when I am not plugging my vga cable into my graphics card it only launches without crashing when it is not plugged into the graphics card. When it is actually plugged into my graphics card (GTX 1060 3GB) it crashes i have tried unplugging it during launch and it just continues to register with no VRAM and acts like i have 128 mb instead of the amount actually there. It has nothing to do with the computer because I can run it on lowest settings with 75 fps with no graphics card and I run all the other games on my computer perfectly fine such as PUBG and Overwatch.

4 RepliesI have found the problem for me. open nvidea control pannel and set your 3d processor to your graphics card.

2 RepliesBump, I'm having the same issue as well. 10 fps or less here.

Like stated before, double check and make sure your monitor is plugged into your video card and not the motherboard. 128MB is what most motherboards come with built in, my brother in law had this same issue till I told him to move his monitor to the GFX card.

1 ReplyCHECK do you have your monitor plugged into mono or graphics card. Cause that was the case for me
