cayde's gun
well i never had chance to play destiny1. only watched story in youtube. now i just noticed while playing first mission again. his gun has a core or whatever its. it has an ace of spades on it. googled a bit and didnt find anything.
my questions are
-was he using same gun back in D1?
-Naturally this gun has a name?
-Was there a way to loot or earn this gun?
i d really like to own one if they ll include it. looks nice.

The gun that cayde has in destiny 1 and 2 is the Ace of spades and is named after his son and you got it from the gunsmith in destiny 1 as a hunter and destiny 2 you need to finish the forsaken story and then some quest

The weapon Cayde-6 uses in the cutscenes and trailers looks identical to the weapon "Ace of Spades" that is able to be ontained and exclusively used by Hunters via the Gunsmith with the inclusion of the Taken King expansion. Players must level up the Gunsmith reputation multiple times (forgot the exact number) to receive the quest that will reward said weapon. No idea if players will be able to use the same "Ace of Spades" weapon in Destiny 2.

It's called the Ace of Spades and it's an exact copy of Andal Brask's, who was a friend of Cayde and was the previos Hunter Vanguard (although Banshee painted on the ace of spades himself so the gun looks different now) Cayde has this in all of Destiny and you could get it from an exotic quest from Banshee the Gunsmith

Ace of spades is a exotic weapon that you could get in D1 In the grimoire card of it, Cayde asked banshee to craft the gun. So basically he kinda had it D1 but he was never seen in action with it.

5 RepliesAce of Spades was an exotic Hunter only gun. You had to do some errands for the gunsmith to get it. Sadly it was probably the worst of all of the class specific exotics. http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Ace_of_Spades

While I don't remember a specific time that we see Cayde-6 with this gun, the lore implies that he commissioned the gunsmith to make it either for himself or possibly for his now deceased friend Andal Brask. -Naturally this gun has a name? Yes. It is called the Ace of Spades -Was there a way to loot or earn this gun? Yes. (assuming you were a hunter) You earned it through leveling up and completing a quest with the gunsmith.

Yar, the Ace of Spades. Hunter - exclusive exotic hand cannon. Have to raise Gunsmith rank to unlock the (easy) quest to obtain it. Does the flip like Last Word / First Curse, and has a rock-solid perk setup.

1) Cayde didn't use guns in D1. He was working behind the scenes, planning the missions that us guardians went on. 2) The gun is called Ace of Spades. 3) You could get the Ace of Spades by reaching Rank 3 with this guy called the Gunsmith while playing as the Hunter character. Basically, you had to test Weapons for the Gunsmith by killing certain enemy types, killing enemies is certain ways, etc.
