The highest resolution available on full screen mode is 1680*1050. However 1080p option is available on windowed mode. Plz help!

1 ReplyI FOUND A FIX! Nvidia Control Panel > Adjust Desktop Size and Position > Perform Scaling on Display. Seems the game likes to throw a fit if you have Perform Scaling set to GPU.

2 RepliesEdited by dust: 8/29/2017 2:20:52 AMFound a potential fix for those of us willing to play on borderless windowed mode. 1. Set to fullscreen mode at whatever resolution 2. Then set it to windowed mode at 1080p 3. Next put it in borderless windowed mode at 1080p This should fix the screen alignment problems, or at least it did for me. Unfortunately, I don't have anything for those that want to play fullscreen 1080p having these problems. Edit - formatting

1 ReplyI'm having the same problem. I can get it to 1080p on borderless windowed mode, but it cuts off about half an inch from the bottom of the screen leaving the top with about a half inch black bar. If i go to re-position the borders of the playable area it isn't able to adjust to the borders of my screen. Strange problem.

Edited by Gasmask218: 8/29/2017 10:46:04 PMI'm having the exact same issue and it's frustrating, to say the least. It wouldn't be half as headache-inducing if borderless windowed worked properly but it doesn't. I understand this is a beta but screwing up 1080p 60hz fullscreen on a PC release is pretty inexcusable. I'm running two GTX 970s in SLI going through HDMI to a 1080p60hz monitor. Even if I disable one of the cards under the game's profile in Nvidia Control Panel, the issue persists. I'm a first-time Destiny player and to say I was hyped for this beta would have been a massive understatement. However, between this and having to disable my static LAN IP address to even connect to the game for the first time, I'm not sure I'm so eager to pre-order anymore. I hope these issues get resolved before the beta's over because as of right now this resolution issue is making the game unplayable for me. EDIT: I should also add that manually changing the fullscreen resolution in the .cvar file to 1920x1080 does absolutely nothing. The game reverts back to 1680x1050 even if I set the .cvar to "read only." What's the point of allowing us to modify a config file if you're just going to ignore our changes? EDIT 2: FIX FOUND: Nvidia Control Panel > Adjust Desktop Size and Position > Perform Scaling on Display. Seems the game likes to throw a fit if you have Perform Scaling set to GPU.

Same as these guys. Tried disabling other monitor, reinstalling driver, deleting pref etc. Still the only way to get 1080p is with Windowed, and that window wont align itself properly. It's all over the place. Fix plx.
