also got this error, Windows 7 seems to be quite common here!
Specs:
AMD Fx 4350 quad core 4.2 GHz
16 gb RAM
nvida gtx 1080 (updated dirvers)
windows 7 64 bit
Edit: also had to link my xbox account with destiny 1 to be able to post this error at all. Can't post using my bnet with a copy of destiny 2 that cant log in.

From others getting the error, I'm pretty sure it's a Windows 7 issue.
