"I was born in the dark..."
Am I right or am I right?

He is identical to bane even in the batman movie you thought he was the main villian but he was used. In the game seems he dies way before raid and theres bigger guy pulling the strings

2 RepliesMight be stretching a bit far. I still think he's an over-inflated grunt. https://i.pinimg.com/736x/64/bf/6b/64bf6bc3e99772d55518338fbc75e208.jpg Think about it...

One thing I like about Ghaul is that while you aren't supposed to agree with him, you can see where he's coming from. An unknown entity which is capable of bestowing incredible powers to whom ever it chooses to help it combat an ancient evil. Your people are a militant race of warriors who trample everyone in their way, with you being a cunning leader and a brilliant strategist. You'd expect it to choose you over the short lived, easily killable denizens of earth (and the awoken) but it doesn't. That breeds resentment in you. So you ho to earth to take what's "yours", because the Traveler, in your mind, chose wrong. I like that our villain has a motivation besides "The Darkness commands it." because now we have a more personal goal, which is how you put a nigh indestructible character in convincing danger, make it personal.

that was the first impression ghaul left on me when i watched on youtube. same voice nearly. bane's voice a bit deeper tho i guess.

2 Replies- The light betrays you, because it belongs to me! - Oh, you think the light is your ally. But you merely adopted the light; I was born to receive it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a Dominus, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING! - Of course... The Traveler refused our offer in favor of yours, we had to find out what he told you. - Crashing this ship... with no survivors! - Speak of the cabal and he shall appear. - Theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated... but we are initiated, aren't we Guardian? Members of the Dead Orbit! - I AM the Dead Orbit, and I'm here to fulfill The Travelers destiny! - Ah, yes... I was wondering what would break first... your light, or your body! - Yes. The light rises. - So, you came back to die with your tower. - Yes. But not of your body... Of your ghost. - So, as I terrorize the last city, I will feed its people hope to poison their souls. I will let them believe they can survive so that you can watch them clamoring over each other to "stay in the light." You can watch me torture an entire city and when you have truly understood the depth of your failure, we will fulfill The Travelers destiny... We will destroy the last city and then, when it is done and Tower is ashes, then you have my permission to die - The Guardians will be ripped from their decadent nests, and cast out into the cold world that we know and endure. Crucible will be convened. Loot will be enjoyed. Blood will be shed. The ghosts will survive, as they learn to serve true justice. This great city... it will not endure. - I'm the Towers reckoning. Here to end the borrowed time you've all been living on! - You have been supplied with a false idol to stop you from tearing down this Last City! Let me tell you the truth about The Traveler from the words of the Towers representative, The Speaker.
Enjoy
Nope. Not at all.

Did you think Omnigul was like the Joker too? I mean you can find similarities anywhere if you want to find something to gripe about.
-
now I want to see a hunter with old guard and celestial nighthawk getting their back broken over ghaul' s knee
-
I dont see this as a bad thing :)

I saw it a week ago and completely agree! Probably copyright infringement. Maybe. Not really but darn close looking

3 RepliesHow to make a main antagonist Bungie "make them bigger"
-
Except Gary's plan isn't to go out in a nuclear fire but to harness the Traveler's power to dominate the universe. Dude is no martyr.
-
Maybe General Grievous?
-
I thought of Darth Vader. Honestly my question was how comfortable that suit is. Looks unnecessarily heavy
-
Which one? Lame film versions or the comic version?
-
1 Reply...but why does he not wear a helmet if the Cabal need pressurized suits to survive in Earths atmosphere?
-
"I was born in the dark..." Am I right or am I right?
They drew concept art of "Stolen Bane" and only drew his head. Then they just added a Captain Astronaut suit and BAM...Gual.
-
1 ReplyHe reminds me of Darth Malgus from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.
-
Can I has your Light?
-
Looks like he jumped in his armor before they could paint it
-
Yes. You should storm the gates of Bungie. Make them pay...
