Movement:
SHADESTEP
Leaves a damaging energy trail similar to Voidwall behind the path you make. (Type of energy same as subclass)
Class (Team) Ability:
CLOAKING
Hunter and nearby allies gain invisibility and an agility boost for a duration. Cloaking does not cease while firing but dissipates when critical.
Subclass idea:
A Hunter, YOUR Hunter, in a dark, damp cavern, slowly waltzing toward a group of Fallen. Camera moves behind them as a spark envelopes your Hunter's hand. The Fallen charge their weapons to fire when WHAM! A vein of electricity jolts around your Hunter's hand. The Fallen flinch as it elongates and writhes. Your Hunter grasps it and it solidifies. Still waltzing forward, your Hunter cracks the surging whip in their hand. The Fallen screech. The camera pans up, darkening but for the zaps of lightning climbing the walls. The sound of a crackling whip drowning out the Fallen screeching until it stops completely. The crackling stops, but you hear the click of your Hunter's boots continue.
Arc Subclass Super:
SURGETAMER
Arc Whip - with little Armor or Recovery, a mid to long range weapon is quite useful. "ArcLash" strikes the enemy and leaves streaks of Arc energy like Sunspots where the whip is cracked, damaging and either stunning(PVE) or slowing(PVP) enemies unfortunate enough to walk through it. "VoltLatch" can latch onto an enemy and, depending on the perk, will pull the enemy toward you or propel your Hunter toward an enemy. In a bind, the Arc Whip can be rotated around the Hunter, causing an AOE, stunning any too close. (Similar to DarkDrinker)

1 ReplyI think Arcstrider is fine the way it is, but that is just my opinion

3 RepliesBungie isn't going to make any major changes 2 weeks before the game launches. Most of those ideas are dumb anyway. However it is important to give feedback and suggestions about the game. Bungie won't listen(they only care about their vision for the game, not how we want to play it), but it's still important.

6 RepliesEdited by Vortx4: 8/24/2017 4:59:09 AMPersonally I don't think there is much wrong with the arcstrider super. But that whip idea would be awesome for a void roaming super. It would look so cool, a tendril of dark, shimmering light snaking around people and sucking them into the void. And who knows, maybe the whip could wrap around bosses and apply a the shadowshot debuff. Support super for hunters, anyone?
