Basically the Xbox with the headset and and controller would be $300. Halo Reach = $60. And the extra controller is $33.54 (Amazon). While it does include The Package and some exclusive armor, nobody really cares much about those. Lastly, the Halo Reach edition looks worse than the standard 250gb Xbox 360. So , the Halo Reach edition Xbox is $400 and if you bought everything separately (besides if you really care about The Package and exclusive armor, which I don't) you'd be paying $393.54 which is less money. I'm not trying to sound like I'm complaining, I'm just tring to find anyone who feels the same way. I think an easy way to fix this would've been to replace the standard headset with the wireless Halo Reach edition headset.
Posted by: A Dead Turtle Are you seriously complaining about seven dollars?
I'm not trying to complain. I'm just saying that they probably should have also included either a transfer cable or a wireless headset. Either way, I will still buy the Reach edition, as it is Bungie's last Halo.

He didnt forget the second controller you morons, xboxes come with 1 controller, and he priced out a second one, thats TWO controllers. This deal is a rip off - and it looks ugly to boot. I think the kicker the he forgot to mention is the wireless headset - but who cares because those are trash, dont work well, and are a pain to recharge anyways.
-
The sound effect for turning it on is shield recharge.... I don't know about turning it off
-
What I need to know is...if i preorder this thing, will I has reconz?
-
I think all of the new Xbix 360s should have included a transfer cable. Microsoft makes everyone pay $20 for one!
-
One more question. I'm a clean freak. Does anybody know if the Halo Reach Xbox attracts a lot of dust like the standard new Xbox 360 does?
I got the 360 slim and what I do man is just put a towel over it when your not using the console. It works perfectly if your worried about dust just dont have he towel over it when your playing it though or it will overheat, one more thing if the system gets hot while your playing its normal.
Posted by: Sparty Boy 117 they should also give an option to bundle halo reach with it or not, because many of us are having limited or legendary edition
True. I got special for everything.

That's what I'm wondering. Everone is saying I forgot one controller but I didn't.

In the UK the total amount the 360 should come to is roughly £300. What we're getting it for is £250. Bargain!

I don't really need the extra wireless controller, but I'm probably gonna buy the Reach console anyways. [Edited on 07.23.2010 9:01 AM PDT]

It's -blam!- ten dollars short. And you forgot the second controller so it's a discount.

By the way, does anyone know what "custom sound effects" for the Xbox are? Oh and do you get the Recon armor if you pre-order the console? [Edited on 07.23.2010 8:55 AM PDT]

You should be thankful they even made a Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 Slim. Now, you want more from them? All limited edition Xbox's come with the same stuff: a unique looking Xbox, a game, and unique controllers.
-
Two controllers, man, two controllers. Thats easily 400$ +... and it's all custom.
-
You actualy get 2 controllers.
