Any Destiny 2 bonuses for those who can't have Rockstar/Poptarts?
So I have type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. That makes super sugar/carb-loaded energy drinks something I should avoid and Pop-tarts something that I shouldn't eat unless I want to spend many hours in the bathroom with severe digestive issues.
Any chance of some love for those of us who can't indulge in this marketing move? The double XP from the Pop-Tarts is meh, since I'll be playing tons when the game comes out, but I kind of feel like I might be missing out on the extra loot drops from not drinking Rockstar.

Be a friend and buy some people you know some drinks and pop-tarts. Just use the codes yourself. Easy to cash in on this, if your not thinking super self-centered

If you can find ones with codes Keep yours eyes peeled. But remember you can only cash 3 per week. The XP ones from Poptarts are more valuable since they have a 4 hour time period / 25% boost, compared to D1 focus Light of 30 mins

I think there's something in the united states where products that run marketing contests are required by law to provide a "no purchase necessary" alternative. I've never done it personally but I think they send you a questionnaire to fill out in exchange for a code or else give you a fixed number of random codes which may or may not end up winning... Probably something to prevent it from being considered gambling. Edit to add. This is exactly why I am against their using these products to market their game... I knew it would exclude millions of people who have medical needs that exclude them.

I mean if you have a friend that can drink them for you or even a friend just gets one, but doesn't play Destiny 2 then i'd ask them for the code.

Best to just avoid supporting stuff like this or they'll keep doing. If they offered it on things that I'd already buy then I'd probably cross brands but buying something you otherwise wouldn't is too much.

5 RepliesRockstar zero carb zero sugar has just 240mg caffeine and 100 mg sodium. Not sure if you can have them either just a suggestion
