Free to play / microtransactions
I have to get this off my chest. I absolutely despise microtransactions & most free to play games.
Microtransactions is such a scourge it has seep into our $60 single player games. It's such a contagious disease that it's even affect the Real world.
The model of pay to bypass the wait is now in our theme parks. Next will probably affected DMVs pay an extra $100 to get in the express lane to bypass wait.

The mobile gaming industry took this to the next level. You used to buy a game for $6.99 and enjoy it offline. Now all the games need to connect and have timers that block you from playing the game as much as you want at a time. This makes me sick! When ever you hear or see a solid game for IOS you get kicked in the wallet. Let me pay full price for the game and screw the permanent connection
