The most common problem is that you text a pic of your receipt to 89332 and put "D2XP" in the body. You get a confirmation message that you'll be hearing back from Kellogg's...and that's. You never receive the followup message with your code. No on has been able to answer why this happens so far other then Kellogg's royally messed this up. Solution? Once one is found it will be posted here. - Gotten reports back from Kellogg's that if you have a submission that is going to go through and work...it can take up to 3-5 business day. - Once you DO redeem a code successfully it shows up as "Mote of Light XP Boost." - The XP Boost should give you 4 hours worth of 25% extra experience points earned. I have not verified this myself but some people are reporting that the xp boosts obtained from Wal-Mart PoP-Tarts say they will last for 8 hours. Just a heads... - If you bought multiple PoP-Tart boxes on one single receipt you CAN submit a pic of that single receipt and get credit for ALL of your PoP-Tart purchases. You will get xp boost codes for each individual PoP-Tart box contained on that receipt. This has been verified fully. - The D2 PoP-Tart Promo started on Sept. 1st, yes...but Kellogg's pushed the date back to August 28th because the D2 PoP-Tart boxes went out way too early. I personally believe that (not all) the majority of people having problems with the pic of their receipt/not getting a code back bought their PoP-Tarts prior to August 28th. That's a guess. If this is confirmed I'll update. - Credit to @Rumbl306: Megaxp doesn't start till Nov. Use D2XP until Nov. D2XP will give you one code per box.MEGAXP will give you 2 codes per box, which doesn't start till November some time. I (Yoda) tried to use the MegXP code for fun and got the following msg; "Kellogg's: Sorry PoP-Tart Destiny 2 promotion hasn't started yet. Please resubmit your receipts on or after 11/2/17." Apparently you DON'T EVEN have to buy PoP-Tart boxes that have the Titan/Warlock/Hunter Promo graphics on them! Check out this out from xIMxBATMAN420.... One of my friends had a conversation with a kellogs rep earlier and found out that you can pretty much use any type of poptarts (it doesn't have to say destiny 2 on it) to get your your xp bonus. Since the receipts don't specify anything about destiny 2 in the poptarts he decided to try something, went ahead bought regular non destiny 2 poptarts, texted the code and got his code texted to him. As for the sparrow you will need a receipt that shows you bought poptarts in target to get that code... so guys YOU DO NOT NEED DESTINY 2 PROMOTIONAL POPTARTS TO GET THE XP CODES!!! The boxes have either a Titan, Warlock, or Hunter on them. However, ALL boxes simply contain XP Boost codes except for Target PoP-Tarts which contain the xp boost PLUS an exclusive Sparrow code. These XP Boost codes are of course not character specific. SO! No matter which box you get, it doesn't matter, the resulting XP Boost you receive will be usable on any class of Destiny character. I show side by side pictures showing no exterior difference on the boxes. There are 3 different methods of validating your purchase/getting your XP Boost. The normal way that is stated on the side of the Pop-Tart box is below. ***NOTE*** Target is by FAR the best place to purchase the D2 PoP-Tarts. The Target ones also contain a code for an exclusive in-game sparrow that is a red color with white racing stripes. Picture below for reference. [url=https://i.ytimg.com/vi/OqR-ULrinKs/maxresdefault.jpg] Target Exclusive Pop-Tart Sparrow[/url] Here is the rundown though of how it works in the simplest way I saw - - You text a message (in the U.S. at least) to the number 89332. - In the body of the text message put D2XP - AND...include a picture of your receipt when you purchased them. - You have until January 31, 2018 at 11:59:59 ET to use the codes and/or provide proof of purchase/obtain your XP Boost. Now, here is the interesting part. The side of the PoP-Tart box says exactly what I just typed above. There is no mention of a key of any kind. However! If you go to the official competition rules they state that there are actually 3 ways to validate/get your XP Boost. IN these competition rules it says that there is a "16 digit Code ("Code(s)") inside the packaging." The PoP-Tart boxes that I got had NO 16 digit code inside the box. I looked thoroughly in the box, unfolded it completely, and even looked on the individual pop-tart foil wrapping. I even ripped the pop-tarts bags open and looked on the inside of them! No 16 digit code to be found. So, I can still use my purchase, I simply need to use the "picture of the receipt method. The 3 methods to use as listed in the official rules are listed below.
