Destiny 2 region locked? (PS4 & XBOX ONE)
Dear Bungie Help,
I'm wondering if Destiny 2 base game and it's DLCs will be region locked? The below link from Activision addresses the PC game, but I'm wondering about PS4 and XBOX ONE. Any help is appreciated.
Example scenario: if I buy the base game in North America, then move to Europe, can I play it? Then later on, can I download a DLC in Europe, install and continue playing?

Edited by LoneWolf_Chops: 8/22/2017 3:32:34 PMNot sure about the Xbox One but on PS4 the DLC is region locked and must match the region of the base game. So if you bought the game in North America then the DLC must be purchased from the North American store. As long as your account is a North American one then you can still log in and access the store as its set to your profile. It doesn't matter where you are physically. If however you moved to Europe and made a new profile connected to a European store then you would still be able to play the base game (as it's not region locked) but you would not be able to purchase the DLC from that account.
