I have played games (and Destiny) with a friend in Iceland (I'm in the USA). Apparently Battle.net does not allow me to add him as a friend in the Blizzard app. Does that mean I will be unable to play with him on PC???

Edited by Hitchenson: 8/21/2017 9:05:02 AMWhen you login to Battle.net you pick your "gateway" (Americas, Asia, China, Europe) and each region has its own friends list; games which are region locked, besides WoW, allow you to still pick which region you want to play in regardless of your Battle.net launcher region. I'm assuming Destiny 2 isn't region locked, but without a service update from Blizzard to Battle.net, then yes, cross-region friending will still be a shitshow; my assumption is we'll be reliant on the clan roster in game to get past this issue. Yes, it's archaic as -blam!-; yes, Blizzard need to wake up in the current year.
