For me I choose radiance as I can self res. Cuz there are more powerful enemies which I may die.

You should enjoy that crutchsinger crutch-res while you can. No more of that in d2
:^)
None. Warlocks are pretty useless in raids :/. If you are going warlock just go storm ig.

You haven't lived til you've staggered oryx with a Lance Nova bomb

4 RepliesStormcaller, Voidwalker, and...Radiance. Well we know your experience playing a Warlock.

1st bit stormcaller 2nd Nova Once you get to the bosses use Selfres because you can hit them with a solar grenade and everyone's damage is increased by something like 5% for the the length of that grenade.
-
I'd say storm for the whole raid except Oryx. If you can stay alive though storm is good for orbs on Oryx. But most teams can't recover from a guardian down on Oryx so the insurance is probably the best bet.

1 ReplyVoid for Totems Solar for Warpreist( dont use it for Res use it to span grenades with VF and HOTPF) Void for Gorg (i used to save my nova bomb for those nasty cursed thrall that got around in the mid sometimes) Void for Oryx (nova bomb is a good clearance for adds/captains if you are using Solar for the Rez, you are playing warlock wrong.

radiance is pretty good for both orb generation and for damage. if you spam solar grenades you can do some pretty good damage on the bosses. or you can focus on the ads and generate some orbs for your team.
-
Storm might be better at the very beginning and at gologroth, but radiance is better everywhere else imo.
-
Sunsinger One person dead usually means a wipe in King's Fall. Better to have insurance.

2 RepliesEdited by Vortx4: 8/21/2017 5:29:13 AMRadiance for selfish reasons, or for orb generation if you're not scared to die. (TBH everyone should go the orb generation route radiance. Look at titans and hunters, they can't self res and they do just fine in raids. At least have your warlock help the team a little bit.) For add clearing (useful in any phase but oryx usually), go stormcallers with transcendence. Just remember not to use your abilities. For the best neutral game, go voidwalker. Scatter grenades + nothing manacles, with The huger and Embrace The Void. That build is is extremely good for keeping you alive. When I have that build I use my grenades twice as much as any gun. You can also use nova bomb as a panic super when you're really low, because it will renegerate your health.

Okay so 11% of the forums are stupid

All of them can have a place in any raid. However, most want Warlock mains to run Fireborn. I've run all three in the raid without problems. It depends on how you play and how you and your team work together. As was said below, Sunsinger can add to max dps. When I feel like it, I run Sunbreakers. I haven't done the math, and I haven't bothered searching for it, but I think Solar grenades do more damage overall.

All the subclasses are useful in each scenario. Radiance is useful when you die accidentally, and you don't want to cause a wipe. Nova is useful for generating orbs. The healing factor of the subclass allows you to last longer on the battlefield. Stormtrance is useful for ad-clearance, like in Golgoroth when Taken start to spawn
