G'day guys and gals, The AusGuard Alliance is currently recruiting for around 25 new members prior to the launch of Destiny 2. We are a medium-sized, friendly, and vibrant community of mature Destiny players that have been around since the very beginning. If you: - Live in Australia - Play Destiny on the PS4 - Are looking to be a part of an active and tight-knit community of players, who enjoy one another’s company as much as the game itself Then the AusGuard Alliance may well be the clan for you! A bit more about us: - We are one clan, with a target cap of 100 clanmates all under one banner, plus a few additional community members (close friends/family wearing other clan tags, or none at all) - We have a very diverse membership, and welcome players of all ages and walks of life. We have no skill, level, or gear entry requirements, and broadly tend to position ourselves more on the PvE and casual end of the spectrum - We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to unfriendly and toxic behaviour, whether directed at fellow clanmates or members of the wider Destiny community - Many of our members have significant real-life commitments – family, work, study, etc. We respect this, and encourage everybody to always put real-life before the game. As such, we've never had a formal activity requirement...however, as our goal is to build and maintain a close-knit and vibrant community, we would ask anybody considering an application to consider whether they are interested in Destiny for the long haul or not. If you think it likely that you won’t be playing Destiny (2) in a few short months’ time, then the AusGuard Alliance may not be the clan for you. - We’re firm believers that a team is only as strong as its weakest member, and as such the spirit of our community is one of jolly cooperation – not one of conquering and bragging about it. What does that mean? If you’ve never done a raid before, or are always struggling to find a fireteam, the AusGuard may just be the perfect clan for you! If you’re a pro who doesn’t mind giving back to the community on occasion, be it in the form of a raid sherpa or a trials god, we’d love to hear from you. If however you want 100 people to fawn over your fully sick 720 no scope montages, this ain’t the clan for you! - Our clan chat and LFG platform is on Slack (a chat/messaging program available in any internet explorer and also as an app on most smartphones) - if you'd like to join the AusGuard Alliance you'll need to be willing to create an account on Slack and use it to engage with our community.
