Can't merge accounts

I have my original Bungie account that I added a PSN account to and played Destiny (1) on. Today, I wanted to add a Destiny 2 PC Beta code to that account, logged in with a Battle.net account and now I have two seperate accounts. I want to merge them. https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/4223169 (this is the account I want everything on) https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/15280024 (this account was created without my intention and can be removed) Why can't I do this? I even added a second fake Microsoft account to the Blizzard linked one so I could unlink my Blizzard account, but I can't.

  • Hello, Now that you linked the Xbox Account to the Bungie account with the Blizzard account in the settings, under Accounts & Linking, you need to sign out of your Bungie.net account. Then sign in on Bungie.net on the new Xbox account and then you can unlink the Blizzard account in the settings of this account. Then you can sign in on your normal Bungie account using the PlayStation or Xbox sign in you normally use, and link the Blizzard account under settings. Please be careful when linking a unlinking accounts. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12130

    • This is what I tried (by Damingez):
Just did the same, mods have answered previously but terribly presented the steps. Profile A = Original Bungie account linked to Microsoft or PSN. Profile B = Second account created by accidental blizzard login. A Blizzard account can not be unlinked if you have used Blizzard authentication login. To unlink Blizzard from B you will need to link B to another account. -I would advise creating a new free Xbox account on Microsoft's website for this. You will then need to log into B via the new xbox account not via Battlenet login. This should allow the unlink Blizzard button to be usable. Then you can link your Blizzard account to Profile A containing your original account linking.
But when I added the second account to the profile 'B', the unlink button for the Blizzard account was still grayed out. Also, apparently, I can only comment on my own post with my main account. ?????
