I am getting a MacBook pro for college since I do graphic design and want to be able to play destiny 2 on there since I won't be bringing my PC. Is it possible to play it on the MacBook?

If you're looking for specs if you're looking to play on PC beta are available in the TWAB listed by GreatCyberboy: https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/46087/7_This-Week-At-Bungie--07272017
Recommended Spec CPU Intel - Core i5-2400 AMD - Ryzen R5 1600X GPU Nvidia - GeForce GTX 970 AMD - Radeon R9 390 RAM 8GB Minimum Spec CPU Intel - Core i3-3250 AMD - FX-4350 GPU Nvidia - GeForce GTX 660 2GB AMD - Radeon HD 7850 2GB RAM 6GB If you’re upgrading, here is hardware that’s available today and runs the game well: Recommended CPU - Intel Core i5-7400 GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Minimum CPU - Intel Pentium G4560 GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2GB Bungie’s Event Machine CPU – Intel i7-7700k GPU – Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti 11GB
Mind you as stated in the TWAB
These are the specs for the Beta. The 13 inch MacBook Pro meets the minimum hardware requirements. You can Bootcamp Windows 7 onto it and most likely will have to really play around with the display settings. I doubt you will get 60 fps but you may be able to play it just fine 30fps 1080p. Would be curious to see a follow up on this.

Unfortunately, OSX and macOS are not supported operating systems.
Operating System Windows® 7 / Windows® 8 / Windows® 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/109713
