What happens if the story is better in D2 but the PvP is better in D1?
What will you do, play both?

1 ReplyD2s PvP couldn't possibly be worse than D1s.
-
It would have to have no story whatsoever to be be worse than D1's. D1's pvp has always been rock bottom.
-
2 RepliesIt doesn't matter whether D1 pvp is better than D2 pvp. When D2 launches D1 pvp will be virtually unplayable because of low player numbers.
-
1 ReplyGiven that live events and support will be focused on D2, going back probably will only be the nostalgia option.
-
I intend to play pvp as little as possible in D2. I will only play it when Bungie runs out of imagination for pve quests and starts pushing players into pvp like they did in D1.
-
1 ReplyI don't really play PvP, so I don't care about it. PvE is the meat and potatoes.
-
Play pve
-
I think I'm going to stop playing until 2 comes out. I wanna be eager to play instead of being pissed at this game
-
That's a reasonable idea... But I doubt people will be going back to D1 for pvp. A few reasons. First, no more trials or iron banner there but they will be on D2. Second, drops/exp won't help you on D1 but they will OK D2. Third and maybe most importantly, numbers will be so down on D1 it will be harder than ever to find a decent lobby
-
Any story would be better than the D1 story. As for pvp it depends what era from vanilla right through to HoW was great after not so much but again this latest meta is just dog shit so it might be better.
-
Pvp is aids, no thanks
-
What's left to do in destiny 1? See what destiny 2 is like simples if it's rubbish play something else!
-
To each his own, but for me once D2 drops there will be no going back to D1.
-
I dont care of pvp at all, go figure
-
I don't care too much for PvP in general. I usually stick to fighting games for that. I'll just be playing vanilla until I hit max level and pimp out some gear. If after that point I want to continue, I'll get expansions. Can't see a reason to play D1 anymore. It's been dusty for awhile and will likely only be good again after years away from it.
-
Then that means I should be able to pick up D2 for $20-30 in a month. Sounds good to me.
-
3 RepliesIt's hard for me to imagine any game's pvp being worse than Destiny's in its current state.
-
5 RepliesSure. Then the next destiny killer slays em both.
-
1 ReplyYeah, what are you gonna do? Play both games you invested money into?!
-
Edited by Aydenator5347: 8/16/2017 5:56:21 AMI doubt the pvp will be better in d1, d1's pvp is terrible right now.
-
Well then I'l be stuck with D2 PvP, already sold my ps4 to help pay for a D2 ready pc. I really doubt it could be worse though, it looks like the 2 most powerful weapons are individual skill and team coordination, not the Icebreaker and Palindrome or whatever it is now.
-
D1 for PvP for sure! D2 for PvE.
-
I'll play for the energy drain and certain things in D1 but I'm going to play the he'll out of destiny 2
