D2 is not unique
ever since they said that ability cooldown would be slowed down they pretty much made the game into any other shooter.
you know as long as you don't into account things like enemies, races, classes, abilitys (that are still there), weapons, armor, characters, quest, missions, strikes, raids, pvp maps, factions, vehicles, shader, etc.
yep i'll look back on destiny and tell people "you know the cool thing about this game was that your grenade would be fully charged in 30 seconds."

I don't think how fast the abilities recharged was something "unique" about Destiny. If anything, it was one of the hindrances for the game as it made PvE too easy and PvP a big ol' mess.
