  • Same thing happened a couple years ago in my home state. My dad told me that he was summoned to court for a hearing where a drug dealer was charging a cop with excessive force because he broke his arm when he tackled him. Obviously, the cop was found innocent, but the kicker is that my dad knew the cop. My dad worked as an air force cop for 12 years, and works civilian for Civil Engineering on base now. He knows hundreds of cops, and he just happened to have talked with the guy on trial before. How he managed to make it all the way to court after telling them that he probably knew the defendant, I'll never know.
