Bungie says this, Bungie says that. How about this?
Bungie is full of it when they make statements a lot of the time. When are people going to face the (truth?) Recycled content is going to be used A LOT and called "New Content" technically it is new content, maybe not for you but to new gamers it's all new and that is all that matters to Bungie, That is a fact no one can deny.
It's funny how Bungie said Y1 exotics weren't coming back, but they used a couple carrots in ROI.
They said Elemental wasn't coming back. Hmm, could of sworn they mentioned about it being in D2.

This is way I didn't buy ROI. Why the hell would anyone want to keep regrinding and regrinding and regrinding and regrinding for the same things they have already have acquired for a 10 year plan? This is pure lazy development. You mean I should feel soo special that I have to regrind VoG weapons and gear 10 more time through out destiny life span? This is pathetic coming from a AAA gaming company that is supposed to be creating a unique game.
There isn't nothing unique about this game anymore knowing they are over doing the recycle content, swapping supers between Guardians now, set perks, locked loadouts, and limiting what a Guardian was created for more and more and more as time moves on. This is becoming another Activision CoD pumped out game. Lets put little or no effort at all making this game and present it under false pretense. This is exactly what this company has become today.
So guess what? When DeeJ said
" you don't want to use the same weapons and gear for the next 10 years" That was a straight out LIE...
[b]You will be regrinding for a lot of the same things you acquired in Y1 for the next 6 years if you stick out "the 10 year plan"[/b]

Bungie was done with their 10 year plan before Destiny 1 was released or are you naive enough to think it took them 5 years and a half a billion dollars to release a 20 gig game

Here's a bump for being spot on!! People disagreeing are the ones content with 'everything' bungie has done. Me personally; Yes I will be playing D2 but No I won't be investing over 2000 hrs in this game like I did for D1 not even close!!!! I dare bungie to try and resell me a DLC I already had/played in D1...The destiny I fell in love with died a long time ago. Won't be making the same 'wait and see' approach ever again once the game is fully out.

How come you are so bitter? Like I've seen all your rants about why you hate the game! you are on basically any thread that pops up after all and i just don't get i? Like why continue to take yourself to a place that is only relevant to something you have such a problem with? What compels you to complain so much? Is complaining fun and I'm just doing it wrong? Because he is a gamer and a consumer. Gamer and consumers have responsibility against themselves and rest of the population. Because choices made by gamers - consumers unfortunately effect everyone. If gamers keep supporting bad business practices , more game companies will do the same and the overall game quality will degrade a lot. On top of that he cares for Destiny like many other guardian does. We want the best for destiny and that doesn't happen when gamers fanatically defend the company that constantly lie to their player base.

What you are saying is correct. But I don't think it applies here. If someone has decided they are done with a game or a franchise they aren't helping anyone by hanging around forums having a sook about a game they supposedly aren't going to be involved with. Blind negative criticism or constant whinging actually has an inverse affect to constructive criticism.

cut and paste when playing a rpg that has swords is there not a (enter any kind of sword here), broad sword, claymore, wooden shield... what ever. you can only have so many variations of weapons, and those weapons basically have the same "frame". and I would feel cheated if I didn't see a mida multi tool or gali, those weapons have their own stories and need to be continued.

I wouldn't be surprised if Destiny did end up the same way COD did. Only this time it didn't take 9-10 games to have people jump around like they have space thrusters and combat. It was there from the beginning.

Seeing how many games are coming out, why can't people play destiny for fun? Clearly it isn't ever going to be an investment game. It's base gameplay entertained a ton of people far longer then it should have. I personally couldn't care less what bungie does at this point. The gameplay entertains me and its not like we're paying a monthly subscription lol. We're paying a base price, dlc price and that's really all you pay for unless you want stuff that is cosmetic.

Edited by Enochua: 8/10/2017 4:52:52 AMthe game was never balanced in the first place, with all the "creative differences" bungie was having within their company before D1 launch. so the guns you became dependent on like thorn, vex, suros regime, TLW. were over powered, why do you think that guns in those same archetypes were trash, name another gun in the TLW archetype that was ever any good! The people at Bungie that took the reins after D1 launch, had no choice to balance a game that wasn't balanced to begin with.

Your referring to PvP and I can care less about a dying mode that PvE gamers outweigh PvP players by double. This game was created based off of PvE, but because PvP gamers wanted more that that is what caused the huge mess Bungie created with "adjustments" in this entire game.
