What is that "vex milk" in nessus
Just wondering wtf that white stuff they call vex milk on nessus is like seriously

Radiolarian fluid is essentially brine filled microorganisms called radiolaria in Destiny these radiolaria have adapted to form neural cognition nets when working together. Vex milk is liquid brains.

The large bodies of them are probably the Vex's way of creating large Organic Supercomputers, since Radiolorion fluid utilizes Silica (which in the modernworld is a clear memory drive which can contain thousands of years-worth of data.

The vex are a bunch of Microorganism (bacteria) that transfer info through the milky white liquid that they float in. This explains why in your were to drink "Vex mind fluid (vex milk) you slowly lose control like Kabar, but you start to hear the vex.

It's kinda hard to explain but it's what INSIDE the vex's metal body's. It's there collective mind in a liquid form. I know that dosent sound right but it's hard to explain so think of it like there blood. And the reason it hurts to stand in it is because it's turning us into vex the longer we stand in it. As we see with Kabr in the Vault of glass when he drank one of the Oracles (basically he drank the Vex milk) he slowly turned into a Vex and joined the collective mind. Oh and if your wondering. Yes the Heart of Vault and Atheon himself are made out of a hardened form of this substantence
