No other reason other than damm lazy.. The basic character choices from 2014, created in 2010, and looking like something from the 1980s, are in a new triple A game in 2017, really?

What do expect they are using the same engine.

So irrelevant. Literally who cares what your face looks like? Absolutely -blam!-ing no one, I for one am glad they didn't waste time and resources pandering to morons who need beards for some -blam!-ing stupid reason, what a -blam!-ing waste time that would have been.

5 RepliesBungo is simply trying to save your time. So when i first played one of my favorite games: Dark Souls, I spent 30 minutes making my character look like he head-butted a belt sander. When I start the game though, I realize that I have this stuff covering my face... Armor. I mean in Destiny, yes you could see your characters face without any stats being lowered but that was only social spaces and menu. And when you have a cool helmet then id rather have that than my characters face. Now if they added like body scaling then thats a whole different story. That should be added. id make my hunter extra thicc.

The barrel is truly being scraped in the old, 'let's find any reason to have a go at Bungie' game.
-
A first person shooter with characters dressed head to toe in armor. This is a nothing issue.
-
They're not lazy, they just put all their efforts into nerfing everything. GG bunghole

7 RepliesI really can't see the point in this complaint and character custumerization for 2 reasons. 1. We have helmets. 2. We spend 99% of the time not looking at our character. Plus I can't see any player caring that much that they walk round the farm asking "is my hair ok" or " does my bum look big in these?"

4 RepliesAnyone else read this like a Trump tweet

7 RepliesAnother troll who doesn't even play the game having a whine. Muted.

1 ReplyI woke up this morning as my 14 year old half dead dog lay next to my bed. Poured orange juice in my cereal, burnt my toast, and tore the strap out sole of my flip flop...and immediately thought to myself, character customization is really not something I should give a damn about.
-
I dont understand some of you. Whether you care about it or not is not the point. Op is asking for content to be added to the game. Why someone is against that is a mystery to me. I didnt give 2 shits about private matches, but they was adding something not taking it away.
-
I was really hoping to see all those weird guardians out there putting beards on female exo's damn it! lmao
-
Who actually cares. I thought it was a 1st person shooter and gave helmets/masks on anyway
-
4 RepliesI actually expected a source from this and I'm stunned. I got hit with the double stun no tac mask. Provide your sources man
-
1 ReplyIs there a source to this info?
-
80s? Trust me buddy, being born in the 70s, anything in the early 90s on up looks better then the 80s.
-
Yet you never made a video game before , but that ain't none of my business
-
I'm sure you would have whined if they gave you a massive cluster -blam!- of choices too. It's not a big deal for me, i can understand why people want more choices though. I'm the type of guy who always wears my helmet in the social spaces anyway.

11 RepliesThe amount of fanboys in this thread is astounding. It's no wonder they get away with incompetence
-
2 Replies1) No source. 2) at-least there is a customization system. 3) you don’t really see your guardians face that much anyways. There will be a few cutscenes and what not, and unless you walk around the farm without your helmet on you won’t be seeing it. I don’t get why this is a big deal.
-
4 Repliesby same choices do you mean the same things we could customize as last time? or that they didn't add any new variants into the existing pool of things we could customize? Because if it's the former that's totally understandable. if it's the latter well. There are many things I can defend D2 about. but this isn't one of them.
-
Its the same engine from then, too. Its the cheapest way for bungie to get even more of our money. Essentially D2 is a huge DLC. Most of the levels in the new areas are probably just differently colored destiny one levels.
-
3 RepliesLol all the blind fanboys getting butt hurt for OP telling the truth.
-
Agreed however it's last on my list of things that I would want to make sure was polished for the full release

30 RepliesEdited by ProfessahStein: 8/7/2017 10:03:45 PMKratos still looks the same..... but with a beard. Master Chief never changed his appearance All characters in every fighting game ever never changed appearance (Save maybe Mortal Kombat, but even then, it was an addition to the originals) Every single COD game has you playing as some typical gym rat military dude. Titanfall didn't change pilot suits at all. I could go on... Hopefully now you realize how stupid you are for trying to stir up blind hate on Bungie for no valid reason whatsoever. . . Edit: If you are complaining that you cannot change your characters hairstyle, eyebrows, jawline, etc etc then there is no hope for you. None of that materialistic crap will change how the game feels. Argue with me all you want, but, bitching and moaning about not being able to customize your looks more is childish, and we need to talk about real issues. Not ones that have no bearing on how the game feels/plays. This edit is my final response to anyone arguing against me. I am optimistic, that means I look for things to be positive about, all your pessimists are doing, are finding the tiniest minuscule of a thing and pretending its a real issue. Its not for 99% of the player base. Yes, I pulled 99% out of my arse, but I guarantee you that if this materialistic issue is an important issue to you, then you are the minority. So get over it.

I'm surprised there won't be different choices but does it really matter? You have your helmet on the whole time anyway. I'm sticking with my Awoken Hunter so no loss for me.
