On the same token, we need to not be so opposed to nerfs when something needs when. I feel like this community has actually become blind to certain weapons or abilities that actually do need a nerf. A great example would be the fusion rifle in the beta. Everyone said "this is what a power weapon should be!" when in fact it was an over powered, no-skill weapon that had little to no reliable counters. Even a simple suggestion like increasing the charge rate to something closer to a 77 Wizard would be instantly shot down as everyone would react saying "quit asking for nerfs" or "git gud" when in reality, such a weapon should not havr been so powerful in the first place. I understand some people ask for nerfs when they aren't necessary (rip Bladedancers and snipers), but it's equally important to recognize when there should be a nerf. Sometimes 1 nerf is more effective than 10 buffs. We shouldn't always be so pessimistic about them.
