Warframe bosses kinda suck...
Like, the game itself is amazing and super fun. But the boss encounters are weak. Not many mechanics, and sonetimes pretty hard to solo and can be quite annoying and irritating.
Some of them are basically bullet sponges, and the rest are wait a little, shoot in the glowy spot, kill some shits, repeat.
And vey hek absolutely sucks.

Ah the ugly flying head that talks too much. Shoot him with a Tonkor and he leaves. Shoot him with a Tonkor again and he leaves again. Shoot him with with a Tonkor and he goes to his mech body, the shoot him again with a Tonkor and go to extraction. When we get the Lenz it would work even better, damn that weapon looks good can't wait to get my hands on one.

Yeah, mainly cause the majority of bosses are from old ass Warframe, where they just relied on invincibility frames to drag out the fights.

Id say kela, jordas, and lephantis if i spelled that right are the best, most of the earlier bosses you fight in warframe shouldn't have to much going for them imo, some new people can get way to lost in the game and have no idea what to do, dont feel the bosses should be the same

They really do suck a ton. Kela De Taym is really the only real good boss beyond the Jordis one.

1 ReplyThat's always been my main problem with Warframe. As awesome as the game is the boss encounters seem to bring the game down. They just become a chore and it's easily my least favourite activity. You're still right about Vey Hek - I would argue that's one of the worst encounters out of the last 3 years of me playing Warframe. Particularly when he was first released. Those f--king beacons were a nightmare to get. I would also bring up Lephantis when he first came out. That battle took so long I just wanted to cry.

Yeah they aren't great. Though they have been reworking the bosses over time. The newer bosses and reworked ones are far better than the old ones. They used to all just be basic enemies with bigger healthbars.

I was just talking with a friend about this last night. It's always "I'm immune to everything except for the occasional pop out area". Pretty lame stuff.

11 RepliesWish you could have seen Vay Hek when he came out with his rework, had to farm a rare enemy for three different types of beacons, wait six hours and no matchmaking, game breaking bugs out the ass all just for one run. Rinsed and repeated.

Its by far the most in depth loot game out there and it's gameplay is massively underrated. I'm much more excited by the future of warframe than I am of destiny, or any other game for that matter lol.

Edited by Upperclass Bum: 8/2/2017 10:50:27 PMIt's especially annoying that most of them have an invulnerability phase since frames like Mesa, Valkyr or even an EV Trin can just melt them... Even the new Ambulas is still easy as shit. How anyone struggles with shit like the Raptor (both pre and post rework) is far beyond me. Also, Rhino is a good solution to Vay Hek's initial phases before he gets in his frame / mech thingy. Stomp his ass, shoot 'im in the face with a Tigris, rinse repeat.

Yeah, Vay Hek deserves to be thrown into the sun. I'd probably say that Kela De Thaym is the best boss around if her orbital bombardments were a little leas common.
