The film grain effect in destiny 2 is very annoying. The effect takes away from the overall sharpness and crispness of the games visuals, it gives the whole environment this layer of static all over it. I really hope Bungie removes the film grain effect from the game before its release or give us and option to turn it off.

There is film grain for sure. The reason I know for sure is because I've seen it in Destiny 1 when it was a bug. I think the people who don't see it probably have their screen brightness low which makes it less noticeable. However the people who play on higher brightness will notice it more. But there is a lot of noise in the picture for sure, I want it to be optional or better yet removed.

1 ReplyEdited by PR4X1S: 8/3/2017 11:24:26 PMTotally true we at least need the option to be able to turn it off, many games have video settings that can be turned off, they need to add this before its release. I say this but it didn't really affect me at all, and I must say if it's there it does not affect play.

i didn't know Steven Spielsperg was filming this game?

If they don't give the option on PC then I might get upset.

I haven't seen any. The only grainy effect I see is in D1 with the strike where you jump down for Alak Hul. That drives me nuts but I haven't seen it in D2.

Check your TV settings.

Funny how instead of agreeing or disagreeing outright everyone has to tell you what kind of tv they have.
