Bungie/Activision has a penchant for making over-the-top, high action commercials prior to the launch of major releases. Someone up the chain clearly has a "thing" for the iconic Brit rock group, Led Zeppelin. In the case of the original vanilla launch, they chose "Immigrant Song" for their live action trailer-style ad. And about a year later, they followed up with an ad for The Taken King expansion with a spot featuring "Black Dog" from the band.
There was a still shot teased a week or so ago on Twitter from what looked like a studio set, so it's probably a good bet they're planning a new ad for Destiny 2. So what do you think the backing track will be for this one? Currently, my money is on "Good Times, Bad Times", which sounds like a good theme considering how stuff is about to go sideways for the Guardians and humanity.
Thoughts? Will they stick with Zep or go a different direction?

1 ReplyI would be happy with Kashmir or Over the Hills and Far Away and can see Good times, Bad Times being used well. Since the new social space is called the Farm.... I thought just for giggles to throw out Jennings Farm Blues
