Both the 4 slot & the flex slot idea all are for PVE only. So it wouldn't destroy D2 or bring the world crashing down.

We're assuming that Bungie would be willing to create two different set loadout schemes for PVE vs. PVP. I don't think that they are, as they aren't even willing to separate PVE from PVP at this point. Their biggest mistake IMO was not STARTING D2 with the premise that PVP and PVE MUST be separated. A lot of this BS that has come out since the reveal could have been entirely avoided if they only gave the players what they wanted since TTK launched, and really, even before that.
