Exactly my thoughts. The light bulb went off playing the most inferior title in the franchise. Must not be bright. I'd have been more enthusiastic had he said BL2.

Destiny came to mind due to Athena reminding me of Sentinel Titan, & Maliwan's Frost Laser reminding me of The Frozen Heart exotic. And yes TPS wasn't as good as BL2 but it was better than the D2 beta... The Beta actually prompted many of my friends to get The Handsome Collection as they wanted to see what Destiny was based off/mimicing. Man...if BL3 were to have Destiny's gunplay.... *drools*

Why on God's green earth would you want to poison BL3 with Destiny's gunplay? I mean do you even Borderlands? Like truly. Because that is without a doubt the dumbest idea I've ever heard. I wouldn't want anything Destiny related implemented into BL3. Destiny is fine on its own, but it isn't worthy to lick the dust off of BL's boots.

Well I enjoyed the beta and think TPS was a pile of garbage but that's opinions for ya. I am so ready for BL3 though. So so ready.

The other characters...meh. 100% agree with you on BL3. Inagine if they did a BL where we make a character (deep character creation), pick a class, & got to explore various planets & moons. (I realize this is somewhat what Destiny tried to do.) Man...Gearbox would have a winner if done right. New DLC are full on planets/moons.

That would be amazing. I was always on board with the "BorderWorlds" idea and I really hope that or some variation actually happens. I honestly think, even given my feelings about TPS, that whatever they put out is going to be something I thoroughly enjoy.
