I've been getting some messages from several different "people" on Xbox Live all saying the exact same thing, exact same conversations and keep repeatedly asking "how old are u?" And "I got ure name from a friend search on the Xbox app" I got this same message from many different "players."
Have any of you experienced these "players?"

No but this hot gamer chick just sent me a message asking for my credit card information.
So I gave her it of course!
They want you to go there webcam website. A fake one at that. Tell them there a bot and you'll respond with your mother's a bot. I asked way out there questions and they'll respond with unrelated nonesense. It can be fun if your bored I've had two of them recently
-
They're just bots. Block and report then be on your way.
-
Not they, but I get my game clips like spammed by bots

Got a message from one of these profiles on Xbox yesterday and they asked for my phone number. I replied nicely with "F*** off and then blocked and reported em.

1 ReplyEdited by eviltedi: 7/30/2017 8:40:41 AMNo, I have not seen this yet. I have had players start following me, I just block them. Microsoft need to allow us to remove followers without blocking, and have a follow request system.

I never get messages.....😕

I did, except the bot rejected me...
WHY WON'T ANYONE LOVE ME!
Oh hey I'm not the only one! Now I don't feel so special... This has now happened to me on PS4 and Xbox. I never figured there'd actually be anyone on the other side, at least not looking or responding properly to my responses... it was fun going back and forth though. Shame my sarcasm and witty quips had to be lost though...

This last week i got three messgas from bots on Xbox Live. After 7+ years of having my xbox account first time i get bot messages.
-
Not on Xbox but almost everyone i know on PS4 has gotten one of those. Including myself. Every time it turned out to be someone trying to "give" away free access to a webcam show. Just block them, thats what i did.

Edited by MexicanSunnyD: 7/29/2017 2:34:56 PMI spammed 911 nonstop and then they said they'd stop messaging me. I've had 4 add me in the past few days.
-
I get messages, that have at least 20 other people in them, about checking out a YouTube channel or joining a club.
-

1 ReplyI got a random message saying "hey bby". After looking at it's full profile and seeing that it had a gamerscore of 0 and it's recent activity was just adding friends I deleted the message and will block the next one now knowing that it's a bot.
-
4 RepliesYep. I usually answer with messages that make no sense and watch the bot glaze over it like nothing happened. "Turn your speakers down, I get loud" "Not as loud as the cries and gunshots I heard in Stalingrad back in the 40s" "I'm going to grab some 'toys' brb." I also noticed it is programmed to respond differently to certain words like sketchy. Then it says "It's not sketchy, you're sketchy"

It's a scam. They want to know if you are old enough to have a credit card for them to steal
-
Yeah, the conversation went a little like this. Them: hey you Me: who me Them: yeah how old are you Me: in the womb Them: how old are you Then they got blocked
-
Yep. Troll em for a bit then block/report everytime
