I was watching a fair amount of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds gameplay last week. One thing I couldn't help but enjoy was how a squad could fill up a car, and then get into a gunfight with another squad in a car. Exiting the car is not required.
The whole thing reminds me of how I'd try and get the same thing going on in my Halo CE demo days. Kinda makes me wish I could have a similar experience.
Thing is, it seems like pubg would require too much setup. I'd need to buy the game, I'd need friends to buy the game (or to get lucky with a squad of randoms), and we'd need to get lucky enough to find a car and a group in another car.
So, which game would you all consider to be the best for fighting things from the comfort of an automobile?

One of the worst is Far Cry 4. That freaking cargo caravan is so frustrating. I must be doing it wrong?

Well battlefield hardline was literally designed around that but people complained that it was too much like cod instead of battlefield so barely anyone played it. In reality the battlefield vehicle campers were just mad that they couldn't spawn kill farm with invincible tanks and planes and all that. It was actually a really fun change of pace.

Only one I can think of is GTA online, get people in that van with the mounted gun and start wrecking through the city as the solo plebs go into passive mode. Or if you're the solo get a tank and start shooting random crap.

Edited by shell: 7/29/2017 9:14:46 PMIt's really great in GTA Online. Can't think of anything else, though. I guess, to a lesser extent, every GTA game.

I mean I haven't played h5 in a loooooooong time but I remember they had a big team battle mode where you could do this. Batman Arkham Knight also does a good job with the car fights, though it is a story only game so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for
