Nobody Raids Vault anymore?
Obviously everyone is done with it in two days or something then I come back Thursday and set up an lfg that no one's answering and get triggered over the minute detail that I've been without a headset a while and can't afford one yet, disregarding my 400 Light and having done raid challenges before.

Communication is key in raids. What did you expect when you came on the forums and said you had no mic, sympathy? I hate using my mic in raids due to trolls and small children screaming. I only use it for key things like saying, "Empowered left" or "Down crota." Pretty much after the call outs I dont use it at all.

Just like how everyone hates kids on here. If you seriously can't spend like five dollars to get a mic then well I'm sorry but you're out of luck.

1 ReplyI've tried for two days to get a group, but all the open ones are over a day old because people are too stupid to close it out and let people bump them back to the top by joining them and leaving. Now it's too late for me to do any raid and get my grimoire score to 5000. Oh, and before anyone says "use lfg sites", I get booted as soon as I mention that I've never physically done the raid before and might need guidance. Or when I'm not 400, because my warlock (which has the No Time to Explain quest) is at 393 and my hunter (which I want to do all the other raids with) is only 397. Apparently, being above the recommended light isn't good enough.

I have done raids with people that don't have mics.. it's tuff I would rather not. And the times I did it for people that had "issues" That don't include broke. Sorry bud.

1. Raids are about teamwork and COMMUNICATION. 2. If you can afford a ps4 / xbox, and a game, then why not a mic? 3. Didn't the ps4 / xbox come with a mic? 4. I have helped plenty of players without a mic complete raids. It is very possible to communicate without a mic but more difficult and a lot of players can't be bothered. 5. I have 700+ raids with most containing an LFG component. I find it extremely unlikely that you can't find others to do the weekly raid. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

No wonder no one raids with you. It's very hard and frustrating with someone without a mic just buy one otherwise don't bother with raids.

In most cases......no mic, no raid. You need to be able to communicate. Simple as that.

Raiding with someone who doesnt have a mic is unnecessarily difficult. No one is special. That includes you. Why would you be picked over someone with a mic and 400 light?

People don't like the hassle of not being able to communicate. Communication makes a massive difference, at least in my experience.

I don't take people without mics also, raids require communication. Plus you get one with your console. And to replace them you can even use regular ear buds. No excuse.
