I've just got my Pro replacement. I had the same CE-34878-0 error before the replacement as everyone. UPDATE: I edited the post for clarification. UPDATE 2: I took my replacement to Authorized Service Center. I told them that the replacement had the same issues as my original one. I got Return Material Authorization from them so I went to the retail store where I had bought my Pro and got a totally brand new one with accessories as you can buy at any retail. Now this new one doesn't have any issue. RotTR runs without any issue. The main difference I have perceived that the fan rotation speed changes for different stresses. It's very silent but it's audible. My original and the first replacement were deadly silent. They fans had never changed their speed. They were like a passive cooled unit. Now I'm pretty sure that my previous units had hardware issues.

  • @jugeen Can you try the Tomb Raider Demo? And then update here please? I'm close to sending my to repair but im a bit scared since Sony Portugal is known for losing consoles on the repair process

  • I tried the Tomb Raider Demo. It crashes with the replacement too. All I can do now is wait for 6th of September and hope the final release of D2 will be of crashes.

    Hello, Same issue for me. I sent my ps4 pro and awaiting for the new one. They took only the console itself. How did you receive your console? Like same package as in shop ? Or like brown carton ? Also do you think it could be a defective one that someone else already send before for repair ? I'm stressing now .... including the money of the pre order for a game that I'm not sure to be able to play. I can only wait and pray that the new one will work like the majority.

  • I took it to authorized service center and they've got me the replacement in my box in which I took mine. It smells and seems to be a brand new one. I don't know if its inner parts are brand new or refurbished.

  • Thank you for your feedback and quick answer. I'm sorry that even the new one doesn't work properly. Do you plan to try an other replacement or just wait for Bungie to wake up or finally wait the release in september to see if any patch will come?

  • Sorry for my bad English, I'm not a native speaker. I got my replacement that I can't test yet. My original one was defective. I meant that one had the error code. I just can hope now that the replacement would run the game perfectly. It's going to turn out soon. If not I quit console gaming and move to PC.

  • I think the release of the full version will work all the way down to connection problems of course. Already several times read the people the PS4 Pro of Sony again get still the same error had.
