Bungie is one of a handful of companies that ACTUALLY listen to their audience.
This. People don't realize it, but we have been asking for EVERYTHING included in the beta. Primaries are making a comeback, abilities are not as prominent in the crucible, so on and so forth. We literally asked for it.
Or bitched for it 🤷‍♀️
• No, a vocal minority cried like babies and Bungie listened to them and made D2 worse because of it.

 • Whoa whoa whoa. I didn't ask to have my special taken away. I dealt with it. I never had issues with special usage in PvP. Not my fault they built endgame PvP around a cheap Elim mode. PvP was always an afterthought to me in Destiny. Honestly, I only played it because Bungie spewed out content slower than my grandpa could walk. And he's been dead the whole time Destiny has been out. PvP satisfied the content droughts. But if the droughts are gone like they say they are, then why the huge focus on PvP all of a sudden? If I want quality, balanced gameplay, I play Overwatch comp. That'll stick you right where you deserve to be.

 • PvE players, the majority of the player base, never asked for this garbage. Only PvP crybabies.

 • Agreed which is why we need to be careful on what we say in forums. Too much backing on a subject like this one or increasing gun damage could lead to huge nerfs that when experience in D1 upset most people a lot of the time.

 • But the issue is, these were requests exclusively (for the most part) for PvP not the whole damn game. That has been the issue since day one, whatever they do effects both environments because there is no clear separation. I cannot recall many (if any) D1 posts complaining about primaries or abilities/supers in PvE. You can find a metric shit-ton for PvP though. They fix that, they have winner.

 • This... no one wanted these changes for PVE and I think the game will be worse off because of them.

 • That's true, absolutely no one complains about OP PvE weapons/abilities.

 • Here is where I stand, I was disappointed with the overall design in that they are not showing me clear separation of environments. Check my stats, I play everything....A LOT, for a pathetically ridiculous amount of hours. I enjoy both environments but I have said, since the Vex nerf, that they need to separate the two environments, and I mean completely. Weapons, armor, abilities, everything completely separated. Whatever weapons/armor you get in PvE is only for that environment and vise versus. That way if there was any adjustments that need to be made it will not bleed into the other environment and ruin someone's experience that exclusives plays PvE or PvP. Or for us that like competition but at the same time want to unwind and just blow shit to smithereens. I am afraid, and I hope that I am wrong, that the new design has the potential of making everything in D2 a sweat fest.

 • I actually agree with everything you just said. I play PvP more then PvE, but when I do play PvE, it is to unwind and not feel too sweaty. They are only catering to PvP and Tryhards, which is why this game is going downhill.
