I had one in the beta. Why haven't I seen any conversation about them whatsoever? I personally think they are WICKED FUN.

Fusion rifles are fine in destiny one because of the moments i have created like e.g. https://youtu.be/AzFo2BKw5WQ https://youtu.be/4xUt454XE10

It is terrible, what is the point when the copper head shoots faster and does more damage,
-
Can we get an exotic one shaped like a tea pot? Call it the Linear Infusion Rifle?
-
They were fun, but I found they were practically not as good as the regular fusion rifle. The linear fusion rifle just felt like it was way too slow to hit precision shots in pvp or pve. I can see how someone with a lot of skill could make use of one though. I feel like they will be those kind of weapons where most people suck with them, but the occasional person will be a beast.
-
How can I get the cold heart?!
-
I never got one =/
-
Preferred the regular ones! Sniper was easier to use for the heavy ammo. Maybe vs bosses I will give them more thought.
-
I can't wait to see the others they are basically sleeper stim
-
The one in the beta is too weak relative to the sniper, but I enjoyed using it.
-
I enjoyed them, but they seemed very weak in pve. Give em a buff n all good.
-
They are pretty satisfying to hit headshots with.
-
I didn't understand why it lacked potency during the Strike. Maybe it needs a tweak but it would take several headshots to down basic enemies. Still I love the linear fusion rifle and I hope to see others.
-
They're store brand sleeper stimulant, ridiculously weak.
-
Seeing as primary weapons are generally 1.2 to 1.3 in time to kill with D2, of course fusions will be good, you don't even need to worry about charge time! No primary can counter it, even if they get the drop on you lol
-
Like qbb but not an exotic. Sign me up!
-
It's my new favorite weapon type. Sniper and Fusion were my two favorites in Destiny 1, and now they had a baby. Getting kills with them is so satisfying and I think they over-penetrate like a golden gun?
-
Queenbreakers Bow, Vex Mythoclast, and Sleeper Simulant are all linear Fusions of varied strength, so you've more than likely played with one whether you realized it or not.
-
Most people considered them to be underpowered. Especially for PVE play.
-
The Tarantula? Yeah it was fun. Just got overshadowed big time by the wrecking ball that is the Main Ingredient.
-
That gun needs less flinch added onto it. Its nothing compared to the godly Queenbreaker's Bow.
-
Seeing them in D2 made me want to use Queenbreakers bow in D1. Felt really rewarding.
-
It's hard to test weapons with the lack of power ammo. I did try them in PVP and PVE and they seemed very underwhelming. Without higher damage output, I can't see myself using them very much.
-
Can't discuss something I never played. Might as well be vaporware for all I know.
-
It's a slightly toned down legendary variant of Queenbreaker's Bow. It's fun to use, but the Queenbreaker's Bow concept isn't exactly new. That's probably why it's not inspiring much discussion.
-
They're a good concept, but they're underwhelming compared to Queenbreaker's Bow or Sleeper Simulant, which are basically the same things. Sleeper has a lot more damage potential, while Queenbreaker's has more ammo. These take the ammo capacity of a Sleeper with the damage potential of a Queenbreaker's, making it overall garbage and inferior to a sniper rifle in every way. Hell, the sniper rifle that Hunters got during the beta had a higher magazine size, and probably a higher ammo capacity too (of course, I wouldn't know for sure because I never actually reached max ammo capacity due to the ridiculously low power ammo drop rate).
-
Needs less flinch. The 3 things that made Queenbreaker's a viable alternative to a traditional sniper were: 1) High AA 2) Very little flinch 3) A huge ammo reserve None of these were present on the one they gave us. While I really like the way it looked, the performance left a lot to be desired.
