I fired it in the strike at a group of vex when I was up high, managed to land near the vex and have a dance before my nova bomb killed everything. It's slow but its so good.

Slower, yes, but the little ghost like projectiles coming out of it have good tracking. And have you watched some vids on Youtube? The nova chasing a player across half the map. Lmao I accidentally threw my nova in the beta strike. It flew about 6 meters above a minotaur. I thought oh no, but then remembered that you can shoot at and detonate it. The "ghosts" came out, chased down to the minotaur and killed it. I recorded it since I thought it was cool. Not yet uploaded though.

If you look at the perks they gave us it says it made Nova Bomb slower and able to explode into projectiles. Plus you can shoot it for early detonation. So I guess that's why it's so slow. Hopefully normal Nova Bomb will be faster.
