These posts are starting to become annoying and counter-productive.
Too many stupid people on these forums that joined the game in ttk and roi.
The original weapon system for destiny is what d2 has. The d1 weapon system was garbage, not d2.
It's not being changed.
Deal with it.
I'd rather have an element weapon a button press away instead of waiting 2 hours for an inventory screen to load and die 500x while waiting.

Yep, we should just silently accept every turd Bungie lays on a plate for us huh?

You wrote the dumbest post that I've read in a long time. You're full of shit too.

What a shitload of f*ck in one post...

I realize there has been some discussion regarding the original D1 weapons system so I though I'd reply to the main thread to clarify where the source was... The original gameplay trailer for D1, where they venture through the wall for the first time, shows the player with a scout rifle (that fires on burst??) and a hand cannon. When they defeat the miniboss they get the Thunderlord.. I think this is the one the the OP is talking about. LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIp7vZuYzoA Around the 2:45 mark...

And Bungie didn't go with that system for Destiny 1, did they? I wonder why? Probably because it sucks, and would have made playing the game annoying instead of fun.
-
I thought I would hate the new weapon system. I really did. But as I played the Beta, I fell in love with it. So much versatility but also you can't run around with a OHK weapon the whole game
So much versatility but also you can't run around with a OHK weapon the whole game
Which is bad for PvE, why?
-
They are looking into fixing the power ammo situation in PvE. They said that so I'm not too worried
The original weapon system for destiny is what d2 has.
You are out of your ever-loving mind!! LOL No, it's not. At least not for the game that actually got released, which is the only thing that matters.
The original weapon system for destiny is what d2 has.
Any source that confirm that statement?

Wow! You should work on a suicide prevention hotline! 😳

You are -blam!-ing adorable.

Way to park your guardian directly in front of a boss or spawn point for ads apparently. Guessing you were on last gen too with that menu time, or in Cambodia or something on internet made of river reeds. On XB1, menu takes a few seconds tops, never really seem to die while in menu either, so............

Year 1 player here. D2's weapon loadout is boring, repetitive, and weak. I dont care what the original vision was, because the one we had throughout all of D1 was light years better than the one we had during the D2 beta.
-
Are you sure you didn't join at ttk or roi? Because D1 never rolled with a 2 primary system. "element" weapons have always been a button press away as they are equipped on the special and heavy weapons.
-
Once upon a time they were in the primary slot but Bungie tards got rid of that too.
-
Well when elemental primaries where a thing I know most people would do a variation of, solar primary, arc secondary, void heavy, making an elemental weapon of the required element only a button press away useful for raids, nightfalls etc. the system as demoed in the beta is nowhere near that level of efficiency. even in current Destiny thanks to the redone raids that setup is possible again.
-
It is srill possible to do that. Have 1 person run arc and void Another run void and solar And another run solar and arc The other 3 can do what they want. All bases covered.
-
Or make your subclass whichever you're missing
-
That too. But the ttk classes are gone.
