Yea I find the whole thing rather sad. I was kinda happy when the dodge was announced as a class ability, because shadestep is probably my favorite ability in the entire game. Maybe it was a bit too powerful, but I just loved how it affected my aproach to movability. However if these dodges are what we are getting instead of shadestep I would rather see us get something with more utility.
