Bungie, don't nerf the Main Ingredient fusion rifle.
Instead, just buff the other power weapons.
The fusion rifle actually feels powerful, and you can mow people down with it. That's how power weapons [i]should[/i] be.
Maybe grenade launchers get more blast radius, snipers get more body shot damage, shotguns get a little more range. The point is, make everything feel just as powerful.
Edit: However the amount of ammo that the fusion gets with enhanced battery is a bit excessive compared to what everything else gets, so possibly bring it down to four. But the stats are fine.

I agree with this. I personally think that Power Weapons are quite underwhelming in Our and most are underwhelming in Pvp.

3 RepliesI disagree. Normally I'm not an advocate for nerfs, but it is simply too effective given how easy it is to use. Nearly every single power weapon has an effective and reliable counter. Snipers can be flinched, shotguns can be baited then mowed down by an SMG or other short ranged weapon, even rockets can be baited out. I fail to see a reliable counter for the fusion. If you are within 40 yards of it, you're as good as dead, even if the player using it isn't very good. I have had several games where I'd win every gun fight against a certain player, and the o my way they were able to kill me was with a fusion rifle. I have used the thing myself, and I simply don't have fun using it because it is painfully easy to get kills with. I say either make the recoil more severe or increase the charge rate (damage could be increased in order to not affect pve negatively). I wouldn't mind them decreasing the ammo to 4 as well since 6 shots with a fusion is basically 5 or 6 free kills. Snipers will realistically get about 3 kills with a power ammo drop while shotguns may also get 3. The fusion should not be the strongest option, the easiest to use, and have the most utility within each ammo drop. I think with these changes, a skilled player will still be very successful with It, but it wouldn't be so over powered that lesser skilled players would reliably kill higher skilled players.

The sniper is garbage, has Y3 flinch, cant rez snipe, and the handling is bad.

2 RepliesSniper damage is good, instead decrease the swap and aim down sights time. That would help a lot more then body damage because it is low impact sniper. Besides that I agree.
