Why can't people speak for themselves ? seriously, every post about D2 has to mention about how the entire playerbase just happen to agree with his pov. I actually think the playerbase does care about pvp because there's only so many times you can kill the exact same npc in the exact same place for the exact same loot before you get tired of it. Pvp is what kept D1 going and it's what will keep D2 going.

Care to show me a single day including Trials and Iron Banner days where Destiny had more PVP players http://destinytracker.com/destiny/reports/daily-population Numbers contradict you greatly and i strongly wish Bungie will acknowledge the same thing you fail to see pretty soon. Or else Destiny 2 will be the next Division Streamers didn't kept Destiny relevant , they used Trials to generate crazy amount of money. Thats all.... Streamers don't help Destiny , they help themselves. Streamers don't care the qulity of Destiny , they care their own advantage. Thats why you should seriously stop listening those streamers imo...

Yeah and it struggled BAD to keep it going! No one wets their panties when they hear a new PvP mode is coming but when they hear a new raid or strike is coming, people loose their stuff.

Np, everyone has their opinion. But I do know this. Because D2 is based off of PvP they're going to loseva good portion of their player base and it will hurt their profits.

You're right. I hope that they can better separate PvE and PvP to ensure good balance for both. They need to be mutually exclusive or else one side will always be unhappy

Back in y1 it didn't really feel that way, well at least for me. Incentive is a big part of any game and when that's being removed gamers lose interest. I may buy D2 but not until months down the line because Bungie will never change. I got tired of watching everything I enjoyed useing constantly getting nerfed. At this point I rather buy ROI.

Pvp kept it relevant in the twitch directory, but pve is where a majority of the player base resides and logged in to play every week.

I was once ranked 28 in Crucible... still only ever played to farm Iron Banner and other rare gear. Certainly had some incredibly fun matches, but I likely wouldn't have bothered to play if not for that.

Uh correction, pve is what kept d1 going. Don't think so? Go check destiny tracker, because clearly d1 has always had more pve players than pvp players. Without pve players this game would of flop long time ago. The raids and expansions pve players had to purchased, yeah you can thank them for that as well because if pve players didn't purchase them hey guess what? No d1.
