My experience with power weapons in pvp so far: Sniper, Only good if you're an experienced sniper who can consistently land headshots. aka "not me" Rocket launcher, Single rocket with tracking. If your not a fan of power weapons it's great. Grab ammo to deny the enemy, shoot once, back to business as usual. Grenade launcher, Drop all your ammo into whatever corner your target ran to hide and you might get a kill. Fusion, Mid distance one shot kills, works well. Steady aim is important. Will often die to team shots if you don't precharge around corners. Shotgun, Good for ambushing stragglers who get separated from their team or defending close spaces. Linear fusion, Why? Needs a headshot for the kill. Might as well use a sniper. As for PvE, pick the one you have the most fun with.
