D2 hunters feel underwelingly under powered

I don't know about anyone else but the new hunter subclasses feel really bad, as a hunter main I feel very unhappy with how weak the class feels the other classes are for one more fun to play and feel like they bring something to the table and they do way cooler stuff yeah we get to roll every once in a while like cool dude! This is based on PvP play I hope there is more for the hunter this is weak! Still excited for D2 but might be a diffent main

  • While I think the Hunters received a triple helping of "suck", all three of the Classes were highly uninspiring and very underwhelming.

  • I main a hunter and think while we could use a little (and I do mean little) love, we are very fine. It seems destiny 2 has a higher skill floor thus the hunter skill req is higher give it some time and we'll be top dog again.

  • The Hunters special should have been smoke bomb. One would do invisibility the other defensive buff. I have no clue why it's the only class without a team oriented special.

  • All bungie did was bring hunters back in line being the crutch class that they were in D1, now in D2 hunters will actually have to work for their kills a little so either learn how to play without your crutch wombo combo shadestepping bullshit or cancel your D2 pre-order, the less hunters in D2 the better

    • Voted no because there was no wait and see option. For trash pulls, I think arcstrider was both the most powerful and the most fun. For bosses, I feel like the best trees for either subclass were locked away in the beta. If bosses can be disoriented the other arcstrider tree is going to be sick in boss fights.

      • If the hunter were allowed something like maybe limited wall running or atleast was given the whorelocks air dodge (triggering the same trait use and cool down as a ground dodge) that would atleast be something... Both titans and warlocks have better maneuverability. Both titans and warlocks have better supers. Both titans and warlocks have better grenades.... Arguably... All grenades suck right now... Maybe if triggering the supper initiated a tarted attack so that like fist of panic it was instantly effective, that would work... Maybe if, since the golden gun doesn't one hit kill, it was given as much time as other roaming supers, that would work... Maybe if the hunter could wall run or air dodge. That would definitely work... Maybe if the hunter could turn invisible which is -blam!-ing cannon. That would work. Right now?... Why the -blam!- would anyone play a hunter? Assuming that stalker is coming back, it better be something gods damned special or else the hunter is officially a dead class. I'm probably playing warlock. The flaming sword, aiming while in mid air, and air dodge just makes it so much more fun to play.

      • I have a much easier time using a hunter in PvP. They are simply quicker and it doesn't take any abilitys to use quickness. In a game where you're trying to avoid team fire being fast enough to duck back behind a corner is very important. Pve maybe a different story. You can't do anything to help your teammates with your abilities.

      • I'd much prefer cloaking for a short spell and have the ability of firing my weapon while invisible. Titan was my main in D1 but still think I''ll move to the Hunter for D2, even with it's lame subclass.

      • The only downside to the hunter is the dodge Hunter Dodge I was thinking making it drop a trap where you dodge from. The trap would suppress and make an enemy trapped in it stand still for 2 seconds and do like 20 damage(less than a high impact scout rifle body shot damage(it does 37)). And it would have a similar circle around it on the ground to the healing/ empowering rift on the warlocks that when a teammate passes through the area, they get increased Handling, Stability, and movement speed for 10-15 seconds. The trap would be great to prevent enemies in PvP from chasing after you, and in PvE you could dodge around a tough enemy to prevent it from using abilities and moving around while your team could focus it and kill it faster. This would help nicely in both PvP and PvE. Imagine playing hunter and dodging next to a power ammo pick up a little bit before it spawns... and an enemy tries to pick it up, but gets trapped. It wouldn't be OP. To counter it, shoot or use an ability on the trap to destroy it, you could still shoot while you're trapped and it's only for 2 seconds. But the trap would have to be invincible after activation so it is actually useful.

        • the pole dancer is OP. The hard part is getting your super so you can get used to it. I don't like the beta weapons with the hunter. But I like the abilities.

        • I'm sure they'll do something for hunter. Hopefully not tether tho, I'm about sick and tired of using nothing but tether in every aspect of pve
