D2 beta is awesome, I'm still getting the game, and I'm still going to love it.
Things are different, yes, isn't that what we wanted?
New game, new mechanics , different abilities.
I swear I love this game but streamers and youtubers have ruined gamer's minds.
Stop listening to the internet rant , and make up your own mind. If you don't like it, don't play it. It's that simple.
For the rest of us, we will be enjoying this game for the long haul. I hope to see you all starside!

But people like to capitalize on the negative unfortunately which has created the "hate wagon". Who would have known that having such hate and spite would open ones eyes up to the "truth" of game developers and make those opinions a "complete fact". [spoiler]it doesn't[/spoiler]

Beta was a bit of a mix for me, but I liked several things including to the changes to the pvp overall. I hated pvp in Destiny, but D2 looks very promising. I personally hope they make maps a bit larger, but regardless will be purchasing and playing this game at least until anthem rolls out.

1 ReplyMost of the complaints are pvp try hards who can't handle the fact they can no longer sit in the back with icebreaker or have an end bless god roll Easyluna or palindrome or just stick someone and run away now it's real Gunplay and strategic skill. Can't wait for the new trials to really put the pain down

I generally ignore reviews. I've played many games I've enjoyed which got bad reviews. I find out for myself if I like something. I've intended to buy the game all along. I went into the beta looking for anything that would change my mind and nothing did. So I'll be playing on release day.

The negativity on the forum is just dumb. Bungie the ppl that like the game don't come to the forums to let you know about it. Please dont listen to these ppl who want everything to go their way. The beta was kool. I'm excited for the release and everyone that I game with are excited too

What i dont understand is what enemies are people saying take to long to kill? You can 2 burst the basic enemies. The only ones i see that take longer are the orange and yellow bars, and they take longer to kill for obvious reasons. The only basic enemies that take longer are the more tanky ones, the cleaver guys and minotaurs for example. As for the bullet sponge boss, why wouldnt the boss have alot of health? If you played a mmo before, you would know dungeon bosses have a lot of health. If you played any scifi shooters, the bosses have alot of health.

I liked it a lot. But it still needs dedicates servers, stronger primaries, faster cooldowns, separate pvp and PvE, etc

Yes everyone, ignore all the glaring issues like no dedicated servers, no 60 fps, no Rumble, no machine guns etc.

11 RepliesUmmmm no. PVE has been nerfed to satisfy PVP. This has caused PVE to be a snooze fest. Abilities take too long to cool down, bosses are bullet sponges. If you think that facing a boss and shooting him for 20 minutes with your primary is fun than D2 is the game for you

2 RepliesCould you give a bit more details on your opinion? How are the guns, movement, speed, abilities, etc. Just curious that you took the time to make the thread yet didn't give any specific details. Whereas the people who dislike the beta are being incredibly detailed in what is wrong.
