How do I get Rise of Iron without buying the game again?
Haven't played Destiny for a while so when I loaded it up today I noticed there is an addon called Rise of Iron.
It seems the only way to get this addon is to buy the collection for £50
I already have the base game plus the expansion packs so why am I being expected to buy the game again for full price for this addon?
Are Bungie really that greedy that they expect us to buy the full game again just to get this add-on?

You don't need RoI. The campaign is short and useless. No good storytelling to be found here. The raid is pretty neat and with a good team some fun. Sadly there won't be many people around to play it anymore. The Siege Engine is the best part, but it also shows that the PS4 is at it's limits with so many things happen simultaneously at the start of that stage. Buying RoI is not worth it.

Absolutely disgusting After paying £16 a couple of hours ago for Taken King I now find out that I have to pay £25 for the DLC. Activision/bungie really to to punish people who buy their games on release by ripping them off.

I also didn't buy Rise of Iron and as an original day 1 player of Destiny I WAS excited to come back to the game but seeing how I'm locked out of half the game because they wanna force me to buy the most recent DLC AFTER IVE ALREADY PAID $150 for game/season pass/ Taken King I am extremely disappointed and distraught. Rise of Iron been out almost a year? It should only be like $15 if not FREE for the dedicated players who have already thrown all that money at the screen. Especially like another guy in the post said it's ONLY got a few story missions and a raid, barely enough content to keep me occupied for 30days at most.. and who knows, maybe Bungie feels the same way but Activision puts the price tag on everything.. still got to blame them both.

6 RepliesIf you own The Taken King, you should be eligible to buy Rise of Iron for a discounted price, but most places have The Collection on sale. I know I checked the other day and Amazon had it for 40 USD, and it frequently goes on sale on both the Xbox and Playstation stores.
