Fix the Hunter Sub Classes

I don't even have to say much because everyone will agree with that the Hunters got screwed again. As if a shadestep is equal to a barrier or a power/defense rift. Bump if you agree.

  • I am seriously disappointed in the Hunters now. That was my main in D1 from day 1. So let me see if I have this right... Blade Dancer is now Arc Staff, Blink is gone, Invisibility is gone, long range melee is gone, the alternate super attacks are gone... But we get a dodge once every few minutes that are our class ability, yet warlocks get it as an airborn perk? Do I get a healing rift as a perk then? So Arc Staff is basically just melee that can cover distances quickly... hey, Titans now get that on thier supers too! WTF? So a Sentinel Titan can Drop a bubble as before, or use a shield he can THROW, Hide behind, AND cover distance quickly with shield bash? Striker Titans can Fist of Havoc AND Cover Distance fast with Super Shoulder Charge? And speaking of shoulder charge, Hunters still dont have a sprint attack? They are supposed to be sprinting everywhere... they should have an attack tied to sprinting! I honestly see no benefit to playing a Hunter in D2. We really arent any faster, our supers got downgraded while others got exponentially better, our 3rd class ability is an old perk that is now less useful. I should have seen this coming back when everyone got swords that did more damage than Arc Blade... Hunters special abilities have been handed out to other classes throughout D1... Everyone got Keen Senses or Third Eye through the medallions (both were class perks for hunters). Fire whom ever is in charge of the Hunter class design!

  • 3 titans go to rugs with the wall equiped place one at each of the doors no one can get in and your safe to plant the charge

    • I like the idea of a dodge if fits a hunter well but is terribly implemented. It is the most useless ability in pvp You roll out of the way but it doesn't help the other player miss you. Pve not much better I would hope for something almost like a tracer blink where you move a few meters in one direction and while you are going that way you cannot be hit.

    • I just don't understand why the warlock has a dodge ability and the Titan has a reload ability? That's all the hunter has as 'class specific ability' not really specific is it..

    • Am i the only one that feels like arcstrider needs to regen health on kills i mean if sentinal can do it we should be able to aswell

      • I'm annoyed with arcstrider being so weak and needing a buff and also that my beloved blinkstrike knife attack is gone from the acrc subclass and hunters now punch like a titan but when you go GUNslinger you get blinkstrike knife attack and throwing knifes. What part of that is GUNslinging. Ther should be fancy ways of shooting your gun trick shots to give you more super energy or something and the blinkstrike and throwing knifes should be returned to the arc subclass and be buffed to do more damage becaue sorrg if i throw a knife at your head that IS a one hit kill. Nothing less. The new gun system is lame and special heavy and primry should be put back the way they were as well as intelect strength and dicipline. Otherwise i love most of the changes. Gunslinger is a bit weak and i agree it needs buffed but it mostly needs to be more GUN oriented last word flip around reloads hip firing and coolness and leave the knifes and staffs to the arcstrider as an upclose and personal subclass and also bring back the invisibility class ability when you roll/dodge and let the gunslinger keep his insta reload as it suit the class

        • Shadestep should be 2 per charge and continually recharge (max 3-4). What do you think? Maybe a perk for continued recharge?

        • Arcstrider is good if you know how to use him. Half the people probably don't even know the super uses COMBOS. Goldy with 6 stots isn't the best, but that's a perk on an already crappy skill tree. I can see most people use the other one. The dodge is great for people who love Shadestep. Use the marksman dodge if you hate shade step. Use gambler's dodge if you love it. They have different animations.

        • I find it disappointing that in order to gain the melee recharge from Gambler's Dodge you have to actually be right next to an enemy. Sure, that follows through really well with the Arcstrider melee, but the Gunslinger? That's gonna be a pain in the ass to back up quick enough to line up a knife shot.
