I actually watched the entire thing. Like one of your biggest issues in gameplay is that you're willing to easily sacrifice safety in return for a chance of a kill, even if that chance is low, which is most of the time. Not because of 'skill', but because of how the interaction is played out. Low health you'd still try to take on a high health regardless. You don't take into consideration teammate proximity at all in firefights, only at stable times. Which leads to the problem of you being incapable of backing out when opportunities were present because you're really unaware that its called for it, because of the initial point I made.. You do this common thing some people do in gunfights in this game, which is run forwards while shooting. There's no strafe. Which means you will also get bambozzled hard if you're scoped moving forward or staying still as and the enemy is strafing, your aim is confined to working twice as hard to reach a hit as there's no horizontal movement to help the right thumbstick reach its mark faster by compromising. But also you kind position yourself inwardly, like you seem to gravitate to touch barriers though the 'inside' layer, like left shoulder touching close object, its kinda understandable when you're using a H/C as you want cover and to be closer to the action, but firefights in this game and in most arena shooters to be honest work better when your on the outer surface, that way you won't be prone to getting 'sandwiched' so often in narrow spaces. You also play incredibly reactively, as opposed to proactive, like the encounters and kills aren't really premeditated, which means you don't really have a lot of control in directing the game, most of it is a mindless search and destroy at objective site kind of mindset which every player kind of expects other players to do in this game. But whatever, you seem to be feeling pretty positive about the game throughout or maybe masked in a upbeat way, but yeah you'll be fine dude I don't wanna kill your vibes. I got way too carried away at looking at certain things in your vid but these are just my opinons.

  • Good analysis/advice. I think the biggest turning point for my K/D in D1 came when I began to think and act proactively. I used to just run around and rush headlong into engagements, regardless if I stood a decent chance or not. Now, I plan my routes and engagements, usually only engaging my opponent if I believe I have the advantage. I've also learned to predict other's actions, using that to gain the upper hand. Didn't happen overnight, of course, but those principles I laid out will improve anyone's gameplay.
